It’s not throwback Thursday, but we wanted to share a picture of Terri from about 18 years ago. We are wrapping up a ten day donation drive in her name, and will announce on Facebook the amount raised in her honor at the end of the day tomorrow. We truly can’t think of a way to honor Terri more than helping to keep her dream going. Our hearts are broken for our dear friend and long time ARF family member Kristie Lowe and her husband Todd, as they mourn the loss of their beloved son TJ who was tragically taken last week in a traffic accident. Kristie shared her love for animals with TJ, who visited ARF many times and as recently as last week. His passing will leave a hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. In the days and weeks ahead, we will hold Kristie, Todd, and their entire family close, and we are here to help with anything that they may need. We shared with you earlier this morning some newborn kittens that are the newest arrivals at ARF. Tonight we want to reintroduce you to our oldest animal at ARF, Lucille. Lucille is a favorite amongst staff and volunteers, and frequently goes for ice cream with her BFF, Brittany Carper. Lucille has a spunky personality and enjoys every day. She loves car rides, walks, and playing with the other dogs. Lucille is one of our residents and we enjoy being able to provide her a retirement home. Lucille was reported to be 17 years old when turned in last year after her owner passed away. We hope to have many more years with this beautiful soul! ... See MoreSee Less
