Hello ARF friends!
Please allow me to introduce myself…My name is Jody Leddy. I am very grateful and proud to be the new Executive Director of ARF & ARF’s PAW, Inc.
My professional background includes 14 years of experience in higher education administration at Purdue University in West Lafayette, as well as 5 years of government and public relations in Annapolis, Maryland. I also have experience in manufacturing with General Motors Corporation and real estate sales with Coldwell Banker.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.
My skills include public outreach, grant management, accounting, business analysis, marketing, fundraising, event-planning, human resource management, change management and client relationship management.
I grew up in a small farming community in northwest Indiana in a town called Morocco, where my parents were school teachers. I have 2 rescue dogs, a yorkie mix named Abby, and a chihuahua named Cheech. I moved to Muncie just before school started in August, and I have a son, Cameron, who is a freshman at Delta High School. He plays jazz bass and video games…not in that order.
So far, we really like it here in Muncie, and I love my new job!
There is so much to do at ARF & ARF’s PAW…the days fly by here…there are not enough hours in the day to do everything I intend to do, but I am determined to get it all done!
I want to know how *your* experience has been with ARF. How are we doing? What are we doing well? What can be improved? How?
Please send me ideas, suggestions and feedback to firstname.lastname@example.org any time. I welcome your input and look forward to meeting you!
