Finally, please be aware that with all ARF adoptions, you are required to sign an adoption contract before taking the pet home that requires that at any point in the future if you are not able to care for or keep an ARF animal, the pet must be returned to ARF & may not be sold, given away, or surrendered to any other shelter or rescue.

Little baby Keenan's mange & bite wounds are being treated by our awesome arf's PAW clinic staff. Just looking at him makes me cry. He is such a sweet baby & I can't stand to see any living thing in this much discomfort. Dr. Veneskey has him on healing meds as well as pain meds to alleviate his discomfort. If you can, will you please consider making a donation toward his medical care so we can get this baby healthy so he can enjoy his puppyhood? ... See MoreSee Less

Friends, we have a pup that we want to introduce to you. His name is Keenan; Keenan was brought to our clinic for an exam by friends of the pups owner. The pups owner was unable to afford care, and the friends and owner decided it was in the pups best interest to be surrendered to ARF. Keenan has demodex mange, which if you remember is what Alley (now Minxie) had. Keenan also has some other issues going on, a very bad skin infection coupled with several infected bite wounds from another dog in the home. We want to stress that the owners made the right decision by surrendering him to ARF and while we wish they would have sought treatment earlier we also are thankful that they realized that this was beyond their care and signed him over to ARF. Our PAW clinic will try and work with owners as best as possible to offer affordable care. When that is not possible, and ARF has room, they are there to take over the care of the pet. To donate to his ongoing medical bills, please visit www.munciearf.com or call our clinic at 765-896-9224 to donate via credit ir debit over the phone directly to his bill at our clinic. ...
